Business in the Bend a new initiative for business networking

FBBF President Richard Blackman hosted government representatives and local businesses at the first Business in the Bend networking event on 11 September at Starward Distillery in Bertie Street. Guests included Meredith Sussex AM the Chair of the Fishermans Development Board, Cr Bernadine Voss the Gateway Ward Councillor on the Port Phillip Council, Emily Mottram the Executive Director Precinct Design at the Dept. of Jobs Precincts and Regions, Tania Quick the Director of the Fishermans Bend Taskforce and Rowan Maclean the University of Melbourne's Executive Director Fishermans Bend Precinct. Kate Williams from the Dept. of Planning introduced the Digital Twin modelling of the FBURA developed jointly between the department and the University of Melbourne.
